Asbestos Removal & Replacement Cladding
The Challenge
To remove the existing cladding and asbestos insulation with a licensed asbestos removing contractor and installation of 3300sqm of Trimapanel ribbed cladding.
The Solution
All removal works undertaken out of normal hours to eliminate risk of exposure to staff. Form an internal sealed barrier to prevent asbestos particles entering an occupied zone. Install cladding to small sections at a time to allow continued operation during the week. The storage of materials proved a challenge as a large area of floor space was required to keep up with the amount of cladding to be installed in each phase.
The Benefits
The client was provided with a new thermally efficient cladding, with no risk of asbestos contamination or damage in the future. The new panels provided a refreshed aesthetic to the dated original install.
