Aero Design Office Refurbishment
The Challenge
Office space refurbishment needed. Strip out, redesign, and install ceiling, lighting, fire services, and mechanical equipment in 450m2 area. Remove old carpet, replace with new. Redecorate
area within 2-week shutdown.
The Solution
SLG presented a tight yet feasible programme to complete the refurbishment before personnel’s return. All furniture remained in original position, covered with clear 1000g polythene sheeting. Birdcage scaffold erected over existing desking with 3-layer ply board protection to prevent debris or dust from falling onto desks. During week one, M&E services, fire services, ceiling grid, and scaffold were removed, and first fix installation was carried out.
The Benefits
After 4 years of debate, the refurbishment was completed with minimal issues and without disrupting business. It’s a huge success appreciated by everyone in the company.
